Sourdough Sandwich Bread, Easy and Reliable!
It took me awhile to gather up the courage to try out sourdough. I got a start from my mom several times and then just let it sit in the fridge for months until I through it out. I finally decided I would try again. I asked for a new start, I read up on the details from Ballerina Farm, Farmhouse on Boone and Amber's Kitchen and asked my mom to hold my hand as I figured it out. And you know what? It's not hard. I'm sure there are lots of techniques, and I'll share mine here sometime too, but if you're just starting out, you got this. It's a lot more forgiving and a lot more rewarding than you have imagined. A favorite recipe and a staple in our house is a basic Sourdough Sandwich Bread. It's soft. It's only lightly sour at all. We love it warm, of course.
